On October 13th ~ 15th, Junior World Rally Championship Rd.8 Rally of Turkey will be held. The place where rally will be held is a beautiful Mediterranean sea side resort, Kemer. Service park will be placed at this beautiful resort, and the stages are in the high mountain area around the city. Although the scenery is beautiful, the stages are very rough and hard for the competitors. Sharp rocks will cut the tyres heavily and cause punctures and machine failure. The weather will be cool in this time of the year.

Suzuki has been lucky with Turkey. On 2003, Ignis Super 1600 became 2nd and 4th. 2004, It was first time ever on JWRC to achieve 1-2-3 finish. Last year, it was not JWRC event, but to gain experience Swift Super 1600 has entered and ran through the rally without any trouble.

There will be 7 Suzuki cars. From the official team, PG Andersson and Guy Wilks, Suzuki Sport Europe customer will be Urmo Aava, Pavel Valousek, Jozef Beres, and from JM Engineering Jaan Molder and Michal Kosciuszko.

This year's JWRC is now only 2 rounds left. 19 JWRC cars will enter on this Rally of Turkey. The rally will start off with ceremonial start on 19:00 October 17th 2006. Total special stage of 347.08km. Please watch out on Suzuki's performance!
